Our Frequently Asked Questions are designed for those that want a quick yes or no answer followed with more information for those that prefer a lengthy detailed answer.
Are your products 3rd party tested? Yes
All our products are tested at a state certified lab for quality, purity and potency. We have used several 3rd party testing labs across the country and have chosen a local lab that specializes in testing all things Cannabis, which includes Hemp. This lab is also one of the few certified through the Ohio Medical Marijuana program. We use North Coast Testing Labs. https://www.northcoasttestinglabs.com/
Do you take other steps to ensure the quality of your products? Yes
What other steps do you take to ensure quality and purity of your products? FDA Standards
Unlike the majority of companies making creams using hemp oil, our Relief & Repair (R&R) Pain Cream is registered with the FDA as an over the counter topical analgesic. We can legally make medical claims about our product. Others will usually just offer a disclaimer that states the product hasn’t been evaluated or approved by the FDA.
This means they have not done any quality or purity testing as set forth by the FDA. For this reason, consumers are now wanting 3rd party COA (Certificate of Analysis) for products utilizing hemp oil or CBD in the formulation. This provides some level of confidence in the products they purchase. It’s always a good idea to check with their testing lab for results.
What does FDA registered mean, I thought the FDA “approved” products?
The FDA “approves” Pharmaceutical Drugs and it “registers” over the counter medications.
To receive this registration all of your ingredients must be submitted and checked through the FDA process to be what is known as GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) while being effective in the claims being made, such as, pain relief, temporary pain relief, etc.
Has your cream passed the FDA’s tests to be registered as an over the counter medicine? Yes
What tests did you have to pass to become FDA registered?
The FDA requires laboratory proof of monthly samples for two years to pass their stability and shelf life testing.
If during that time it develops any contaminants it won’t receive registration. Contaminants such as mold, viruses, bacteria growth , fungus etc. We select the gentlest and most natural preservatives we could, that would allow us to ensure a healthy product but one that will provide shelf stability for several years. We are in the further process of the 4 year tests, which is required for sales in other countries.
Our Relief & Repair Cream is always manufactured at an FDA monitored and registered facility. This means, from start to finish, quality and purity is checked and double checked. If any contaminants are found in the final product. They scrap the whole batch and start over.
Each ingredient, including our hemp oil that is listed on our label, only comes from an FDA approved and verified source. This helps maintain purity and quality control.
We then have our cream 3rd party tested. Our cream is tested at a DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) certified Lab for quality, purity and potency. We chose one that specializes in Cannabis testing. This is to ensure our formula has been manufactured as designed.
Can you prove your R&R Pain Relief Cream is FDA registered? Yes
Here is the link to our Relief & Repair FDA registration number on file with the FDA: https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?setid=b6222294-657d-4257-b759-67f3f488e2d5
Can I test positive for THC with any of your products? No
Our hemp oil drops come from a single molecule source of CBD. Processors isolate just the CBD component of the hemp plant.
Our Relief & Repair Pain Relief Cream utilizes a full spectrum hemp. Hemp is considered as having less than zero point three percent THC or 0.3% allowable strength. Since this is an inactive ingredient in our product, the level of concentration is low and lab results show no trace amounts of THC in the total volume of the cream. Therefore, it would not register in a drug test.
Have you verified people won’t test positive for THC in your products with 3rd party testing? Yes
Full spectrum hemp oil provides a major boost to the actions of Relief & Repair, but in essence it is a small amount in the total volume of the formula. It has been 3rd party tested and it was ND which means Non-Detectable for THC, to give our customer’s piece of mind.
What tests do you have done on your products? Quality, purity and potency.
Oral drops: we test to ensure the correct level (20mg, or slightly above) of CBD per ml, no traceable amount of THC, no contaminants (such as heavy metals, pesticides, or other contaminants that are common in hemp products).
R&R cream is tested by the FDA regulated facility. All the ingredients are tested upon arrival at the facility, stability testing for shelf life and then our finished product is tested before it is released to us. It is then 3rd party tested for the same quality, purity and potency, to ensure our label claims are accurate and we are providing the highest quality & effective product possible.
Why doesn't your R&R cream have a large CBD count?
Relief & Repair Pain Relief Cream relies on the intricate interaction of all the ingredients to create the unique pain relief, swelling and inflammation reducing and tissue repairing effects. It does not solely rely on a high CBD count for its effectiveness. The total effect of each specific action from the integrated botanicals, including all the benefits from full spectrum hemp oil, is what makes R&R a far superior product. We feel the relief and healing properties were more important than just having a high CBD count on the label.
What is the difference in isolate, broad spectrum and full spectrum hemp oil or CBD?
Isolate is an isolated molecule. So it is usually 99% pure CBD with ND THC levels or other cannabinoids, terpenes or elements from the hemp plant.
Broad Spectrum contains everything that full spectrum CBD contains, except for the THC to a ND level.
Full spectrum hemp oil is an extract that contains all compounds found naturally occurring in the plant, including terpenes, essential oils, and other cannabinoids. It also usually a hemp based product with less than 0.3% THC in the full strength oil. Which can show trace amounts of THC which if you are consuming this oil at full strength can show up on drug tests.
How much CBD is in your products?
Oral Drops - 1200 MG’s per bottle or 20 mg per ml.
We chose this amount after testing it to make sure it would have systemic complementary action with our Pain Relief Cream. One works throughout the whole body to bring relief while the other works on localized areas. Many times, our clients have multiple painful spots, so with our dual system approach it helps bring the endocannabinoid system back into balance, to provide relief from many of the aches and pains.
Why don't you list the CBD count in your R&R cream?
Currently, we list the full spectrum hemp oil along and hemp seed oil on the label, as required by the FDA. Once their guidelines change, we will adjust our label. The FDA has strict guidelines and when they finalize their rules, many retailers will be searching to find products that will be able to fulfill these requirements.
The FDA has not finalized the guidelines on OTC products that are legally able to make medical claims. Many products not utilizing the FDA process will use a disclaimer statement stating the FDA has not tested or approved it.
Why don’t you list CBD on your R&R Cream label?
Our cream is a full spectrum hemp oil product, not just another CBD cream. Most people add CBD to an established formulation or product. Ours was formulated for full spectrum hemp oil as an enhancer to balance other key ingredients from the beginning. It is also 1% of the total volume. For example the Menthol is 1.5%... So something doesn’t have to be a large % to have a huge impact on the effectiveness of pain reducing qualities.
Why does your R&R cream help with my pain more than anything else I have tried?
Our cream doesn't utilize one or two ingredients to create the amazing relief it does. Ours is like an orchestra verses someone with one instrument. It is the cumulative effect of all the ingredients working in harmony to create the ultimate relief and repair of the tissues. When people add the oral drops the results are even more profound because they were built to effect all the systems of the body, not just one.
Is CBD now legal? On a federal level, Yes.
The farm bill of 2018 legalized Hemp & CBD including its use and transport across state lines. The FDA now oversees Hemp/CBD instead of the DEA. The FDA is now the stages of finalizing guidelines, legal elements for production and selling of CBD.
Most states have added new laws regarding CBD. Please search your own state to see your states requirements.
What is CBD good for?
There is a great deal of information pertaining to the benefits of CBD, we recommend you research your own concerns to see if it is right for you.
How do I use your products?
Oral drops - many people start with just a few drops under their tongue a couple times a day. If a few drops helps with the problem, stick with that program. If not, slowly increase your drops until you feel you've reached what works for you.
Relief & Repair Pain Relief Cream is recommended 3-4 times a day or as needed.
